1 ~ Shower; get wet, turn of water, gel/soap up(all over!), turn on water for a fast & rinse! 2 ~ Bring glass containers that have tight lids, especially when shopping in places that do a "tare" before you fill them with product - the stores do not mind - really! The obvious for grocery shopping: Always bring your own bags, containers, & coolers to stores for "bagging/ storing"... Never be afraid to ask questions or tiny favors when grocery shopping. Here's one I ask when I bring my cooler: I go to the produce (or seafood area - they do not get any seafood product on my ice) and ask the associate to fill my container (or heavy palstic bags) with crushed ice. They are more than happy to do it, becasue they understand some folks have to travel a distance with their cooler/cold items.

I am a Vegan who loves to cook, bake, create new recipes, sometimes caters and has the high hope of publishing a cookbook within the next 5 years; a knitter who loves to knit many different items with a fondness for cotton dishcloths I give as gifts, place for auction in gift baskets, or sell for fund-raising, and am a member of the Green Sanctuary group at my Unitarian Church in Kenosha, WI. It still mystifies me that some folks continue to live as if all the Planet's natural resources will last through eternity. My Green Sanctuary group is going to have a booth at next year's Environmental Fair. We will promoting all different ways to successfully recycle, plus, we hope to sell(as a fund-raiser) Veggie Dogs. I love this Earth, --- it's beauty, how it uncondtionally sustains all of us. We all need to nurture it as it nurtures us.
