What tip do you have in the category of 'Green Cleaning'?

Use baby washcloths instead of napkins and paper towels. You can use the same one per child all day with a quick rinse between meals. Even use them as napkins for adults. Then toss them in the laundry. You'll help the Earth and save a bundle of money.

What shade of green are you?

Medium Green

Tell us about yourself:

I am an Elementary school teacher. When I first started teaching I saw the overwhelming amounts of wasted paper that we produced. In a lesson I was teaching on the rain forest, I found out that for every roll of paper towel, a tree is cut down. My students and I were in shock. We immediately started recycling paper in our class. I began giving the students Earth friendly homework like turn off the water while you brush your teeth or use cloth napkins instead of paper. My students and I became increasingly aware of the environment and began a school wide paper recycling project. This led to me starting the environment club and raising awareness. The funny thing is that I recently got married and my name is now Mrs. Green. The children all thinks it's a very funny coincidence. I am now looking into changing my home into am earth friendly home and getting an ethanol powered car. I love Seventh Generations products and will be a customer for life!
