Know Your Source is an exciting start-up with national ambitions. It aspires to be the leading provider of natural, holistic medical products that are targeted to health professionals (massage therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and allopathic doctors) and the businesses that employ them, including spas, destination retreats, and wellness clinics.

Seventh Generation, together with Gardener's Supply Company, initially funded the company in May 2007. Our intent is to take some of what we've learned and some of what we've earned, and invest both in the next generation of responsible businesses. After more than a year of development, Know Your Source is about to start selling.

Know Your Source will have a traditional print catalog, trade and web advertising, and a social network (akin to Facebook) that's customized for health practitioners. The company will provide detailed product information—including material sourcing, ratings, images, and maps—that provide customers with a clear line of sight into its supply chain and manufacturing partners.
